(iii) Applicants are first required to go to the Bank’s website www.ucobank.com and click on the link “Recruitment of Clerical Cadre – 2012”.

(iv) Thereafter, open the Recruitment Notification entitled “UCO BANK CLERICAL CADRE RECRUITMENT PROJECT-2012”.
- The candidate should take a printout of the fee payment challan.
- Fill in the Fee Payment Challan in a clear and legible handwriting in BLOCK LETTERS.
- Go to the nearest UCO Bank Branch with the Fee payment Challan and pay, in Cash, the appropriate Application Fee in CBS Account No. & Branch (as mentioned in Challan form) in the name & style of “UCO BANK CLERICAL CADRE RECRUITMENT PROJECT-2012”. The Pay-in-slip printed from the portal should only be used for depositing the fee for proper crediting of amount in the allocated Account. On receipt of the money, the Bank will allot a Journal Number, Branch Name and Branch Code. This journal number, Branch Name and branch code are to be filled-in, by the candidate while applying on-line. ECIL will not be responsible, if the candidate deposit the fee in a wrong account. SELECTION PROCEDURE :
The selection methodology will comprise of written test and interview. The written test is likely to be conducted in July, 2012 (tentative). The candidates short-listed in the written test will be required to appear for interview.

Written Test :
Eligible candidates will be required to appear for an objective type written test at any one of the proposed centres. The test will comprise of two sections (i) Technical questions covering the relevant discipline (ii) General Aptitude covering Quantitative Aptitude,
General Awareness, Reasoning and English Language. The Technical section will consist of 100 questions and the General Aptitude section will consist of 50 questions. The duration of test will be for two hours. There will be negative marks for every wrong answer and 1/4th
marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. The test will be in English language.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS :
1. Online submission of application will be permitted on the website between 0000 hrs on 02.05.2012 till 2400 hrs on 25.05.2012
2. Candidates should have a valid e-mail address specified in the application and the same should be functional for at least two years from the date of the submission of application.
3. Candidates are not required to send the print out of the application to EIL. Candidates should retain a print out of their on-line application and photocopy of the pay- in-slip for future reference.
4. Only those who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria need apply. If at any stage, it is found that the candidate does not meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, he/she will be disqualified.
5. EIL may, at its discretion, cancel or change the test centre city. In that event, the candidate will have the option to obtain refund of the registration fee deposited with the application.
6. The number of vacancies are not fixed and varies with the requirement
7. The Travelling Allowance (TA) to SC/ST and PD candidates who will be called for the written test, will be sent at a later date. These candidates will be required to submit the filled in TA form alongwith tickets/ticket no. at the respective test centre.
8. Eligible candidates will be intimated by e-mail and SMS in due course for downloading of admit card from EIL website. EIL shall not be responsible for any loss of email/admit card sent, due to invalid/wrong email id/wrong postal address/postal delays/loss in transit etc. No request in this regard will be entertained.

APCPDCL Junior Assistant(LDC) Supplementary Notification 2012

Supplementary Notification for the Direct Recruitment of Junior Assistant(LDC) in APCPDCL
- To the earlier Notification No.15/2011 published on 15.12.2011 in Eenadu , Deccan Chronicle, Andhar Jyothi.
In addition to the earlier Notified 100 Nos vacancies of Junior Assistants, another 149 posts of Junior Assistants i.e total of 249 posts of Junior Assistants are proposed for filling-up by way of Direct recruitment. Applications are invited through On-line from the eligible candidates for filling-up of the above posts of Junior Assistants in APCPDCL.
The Revised schedule of dates is given below:
The last date for payment of fee is 1.00 PM of 08.05.2012
The last date for submission of application through online is 5.00 PM of 09.05.2012.

Revision of Circle Preferences & Re-submission of the pdf Application format:-

On inclusion of another 149 posts of Junior Assistant to the existing 100 No notified posts, the candidates(both In-service contract workers and fresh candidates) who have already submitted the On-line Applications for the post of Junior Assistant.

(LDC) may access their Application forms, from the website www.apcentralpower.com or http://apcentralpower.cgg.gov.in by entering the Journal No. and Date of birth, view their application form, edit the preferences if necessary and re-submit the On-line Application format.

In respect of In-service contract workers who are Local to any one of the districts of Anantapur, Kurnool, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Medak who submitted their pdf Application formats and relevant documents earlier should once again take a print out of the pdf document of Application format with or without change in the circle preferences and submit the same along with the relevant documents to the concerned Circle to which they are Local by 5.00 PM of 19.05.2012.

In respect of candidates who are local to the Districts of Rangareddy or Hyderabad (as there are 3 Operation Circles existing in each District) the candidate has to send the pdf application to the Superintending Engineer/Operation circle in that District in which was given as 1st preference by 5.00 PM of 19.05.2012.

The in-service contract workers who are Non-local to the districts comprising the jurisdiction of APCPDCL (Anantapur, Kurnool, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Medak, Rangareddy and Hyderabad) and who have submitted their On-line Applications earlier and now modified the Circle preferences or not modified the Circle preferences shall take a printout of the On-line pdf application format and send to the concerned Circle to which the candidate has opted as 1st preference by 5.00 PM of 19.05.2012.

Applicants, other than in-service contract workers who have submitted their On-line Application format need not submit the pdf applicant forms.

The office addresses of the Superintending Engineer/Operation Circles are provided in the detailed notification.

The In-service contract workers who are now submitting the On-line Application forms by making Payment of fee shall follow the above procedure for submission of the pdf Application format and relevant documents.

Name of the Recruitment : RRB Sr Section Engineer Recruitment

Applications are invited in the prescribed format as enclosed (on a good quality A-4 size bond paper 80 GSM using one side only) from eligible Indian Nationals for the following posts. Applications complete in all respects along with required enclosures should be sent by post to the concerned Railway Recruitment Board, as mentioned in Para-15 of General Conditions, so as to reach on or before 09-04-2012 upto 17.30 hrs. The applications can also be dropped in the box kept at the premises of RRB offices concerned , till the closing date. For candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul & Spiti districts and Pangi sub-division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman, Nicobar and Lakshwadeep islands and for candidates residing abroad, the closing date for receipt of applications by posts will be 24-04-2012 upto 17.30 hrs.
NOte :
(1) Written examination will be held on the same day by all participating RRBs.
(2) Participating RRBs have given choice of regional languages, candidates have got the option to choose any one of the regional languages at the time of applying.
(3) No examination fee for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/ Physically Handicapped/Women/Minorities / Economically backward classes candidates having annual family income less than Rs.50,000/-
(4) Candidates should refer Para-16 of general instructions for submission of Single / Separate application to the RRB concerned. 5) Candidates may refer to para 12 of General Instructions regarding online submission of application.

Age Limit :

The lower and upper age limit indicated will be reckoned as on 01-07-2012. The upper age limit is relaxable as under subject to submission of requisite certificate.
* By 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
* By 3 years for OBC candidates.
* For Ex-Servicemen, up to the extent of service rendered in defence plus 3 years provided they have put in more than 6 months service after attestation.

* By 5 years to candidates who have ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01/01/1980 to 31/12/1989.
2.05 By 10 years for Physically Handicapped candidates (15 years for SCs / STs and 13 years for OBCs).

How to Apply :

The application format as per Annexure-1 & 2 should be filled up by the candidate in his/her own handwriting, with blue or black ballpoint pen (not in pencil, fountain pen or gel pen) dated and signed. Only international numerical i.e. 1, 2, 3 etc. should be used. The
application form should be filled up in English or in Hindi only, strictly observing all the instructions given in this Centralised Employment Notice. The candidates should affix his/her normal signature in English or in Hindi in the application form. Applications signed in capital letters/spaced out letters will be treated as invalid.
